Your Meal Plans Were Created by a Kidney Nutrition Expert
Hi, I’m Lauren Gleason, a Registered Dietitian and Board-Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition. I’ve spent more than a decade helping people with chronic kidney disease understand their nutrition needs, including serving as Senior Director of Nutrition at Fresenius Kidney Care.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen how often people with CKD are given long lists of foods to avoid without being shown how to turn that advice into actual meals. I created this series to give people with CKD a more practical place to start, with balanced meal ideas made from familiar foods that fit into everyday life.
